Went for the late afternoon slot at Shoreham because it seemed a bit onshore at hove plus mega windy everywhere. First hour at Shoreham was excellent fun. Reasonable waves coming in in the waist high sort of size, a few rides put together, no current at all. I was on 4.5m and planing flat out throughout. More big jumps, long jumps and speed blasting through the chop. Still maxed for the low tide hour but Shoreham was basically a bit sh*t by then. That swell just disappeared into ankle sized froth and it was galling to head all the way in again and again with nothing to show for it.
